Sea Ports

Two deep-channel sea ports are two hours away in Wilmington and Morehead City. The North Carolina State Ports Authority has announced the building of a new mega-port, North Carolina International Port (NCIP),  to be located south of the Port of Wilmington and close to the open sea. NCIP is designed to handle up to the largest ocean container vessels in the world.
